Closed Residency Program Records
The Federation of State Medical Boards has offered all Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education - approved programs that have closed the opportunity to permanently store their resident records.
FCVS provides a central repository for these records and acts as an agent of the closed programs. FCVS complies with state licensure, JCAHO, NCQA and URAC standards for primary source verification.
New Service for USMLE
Candidates
FCVS offers a new service to USMLE candidates who complete their Step 3 application online. As a convenience to examinees, information entered on their Step 3 online application can be used to begin a personalized FCVS Physician Information Profile that contains their primary-source verified credentials.
