You have now completed the four-part process to obtaining the SPEX application materials online! Use the checklist below to be sure you have completed each part successfully.

Individuals who are registered for the SPEX may choose to register to take the SPEX practice exam. This practice exam reflects the SPEX examination format and provides examinees an opportunity to experience the computerized testing environment prior to the actual day of testing. The practice exam contains a tutorial and two, one-hour sections of approximately 50 test items each. To register for the practice exam, candidates should contact the FSMB at spex@fsmb.org or call (817) 868-4041. Upon receiving a scheduling permit, candidates may call Prometric directly to schedule a testing date and time. The $30 fee for the practice exam is payable directly to Prometric by credit card (American Express, MasterCard or Visa) or electronic check at the time of scheduling.
