The scheduling permit confirms the applicant's registration and is sent to the applicant upon completion of the registration process and approval to take the SPEX.

The SPEX is administered through Prometric Testing Centers; the permit will provide a toll-free number and instructions for scheduling the examination at a location of the applicant's choice. The permit will also list the applicant's 90-day eligibility period in which the examination must be taken.

The Scheduling Permit must be brought to the test center in order for the applicant to be able to test. Contact the FSMB immediately at (817) 868-4041 or via e-mail at spex@fsmb.org if the Scheduling Permit is lost. Rescheduling of the testing appointment may be required.
