The following is a list of recent news/updates from the FSMB.
Ohio Medical Board Implements Common License Application Form (CLA-F)
Ohio has implemented a new online application process for physicians designed to reduce the number of incomplete applications, allow for the collection of uniform information and add convenience for physicians applying for licensure in multiple states. The New Hampshire Board of Medicine and the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure will also implement the online CLA-F soon. |
FSMB Receives Federal Grant to Facilitate Interstate Telehealth Practice
FSMB has received a grant from the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration's Office for the Advancement of Telehealth to explore different models for reducing licensure barriers affecting telehealth and multi-state medical practice. |
FSMB Releases Trends In Physician Regulation Report
A new report from the FSMB discusses significant trends in physician regulation, including collaborative efforts and policy development by state medical boards as they work to enhance public protection. The report includes annual state medical board disciplinary statistics. |
