USMLE STEP 3 EXAM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Arkansas

Post Graduate Training US and Canadian Candidates	None
Post Graduate Training International Candidates	None
Attempt Limit	Applicants are limited to three (3) attempts to pass USMLE Steps 1, 2CK, 2CS, and 3
Time Limit	All applicants, except those in MD/PhD programs, must complete all three Steps within seven (7) years of passing the first exam. Dual degree (MD/PhD) candidates have ten (10) years to complete all three Steps. Applicants may have through the end of the calendar year for the expiring time frame (7 or 10 years) in which to complete the examination.

Dual degree candidates must submit a notarized copy of their PhD diploma with the Step 3 application.

Eligibility Requirements/Cancellation Policy
If it is determined that you do not meet eligibility requirements at the time your application is received, or you decide to cancel your registration prior to approval, or your application is not complete by the published deadline date, your registration will be cancelled and a portion of the application fee withheld. The USMLE Step 3 fee is non-refundable and non-transferable from one eligibility period to another or from one application to another.
