USMLE STEP 3 EXAM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Nevada

Post Graduate Training US and Canadian Candidates	None
Post Graduate Training International Candidates	None
Attempt Limit	Must complete USMLE Steps 1, 2 and 3 in no more than nine (9) total attempts but no more than 3 attempts at Step 3.
Time Limit	Must pass USMLE Steps 1, 2, and 3 within a seven (7) year period that begins from the date of the first passing at a USMLE Step. Ten (10) years if applicant also completes a PhD within this period. (Note: Dual degree candidates must submit a notarized copy of the PhD degree.)

Eligibility Requirements/Cancellation Policy
If it is determined that you do not meet eligibility requirements at the time your application is received, or you decide to cancel your registration prior to approval, or your application is not complete by the published deadline date, your registration will be cancelled and a portion of the application fee withheld. The USMLE Step 3 fee is non-refundable and non-transferable from one eligibility period to another or from one application to another.
