Important Notes

• Certification of Pre-Medical Education: The New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners requires at least sixty (60) pre-medical college credits including at least one (1) three-credit course in each of the following: a) biology, b) chemistry, and c) physics. Graduates of medical schools outside of the United States or Canada which do not use a credit hour reporting system may provide a copy of their transcripts showing at least two full-time years of post-secondary, pre-medical education. If in a language other than English, the transcripts should be translated into English. The notarized Certification of Pre-Medical Education form must accompany both the transcripts and their English translation.

Eligibility Requirements/Cancellation Policy If it is determined that you do not meet eligibility requirements at the time your application is received, or you decide to cancel your registration prior to approval, or your application is not complete by the published deadline date, your registration will be cancelled and a portion of the application fee withheld. The USMLE Step 3 fee is non-refundable and non-transferable from one eligibility period to another or from one application to another.
