Once you receive your Scheduling Permit you will be able to contact Prometric, a division of Thomson Learning Inc., to schedule your Step 3 exam. Prometric schedules test dates on a first-come, first-served basis. You are urged to schedule a testing date relatively early in your eligibility period. This will provide the greatest flexibility in the event that you must reschedule your appointment.

If you must reschedule your test date, you must provide Prometric with a minimum of five-business days notice in order to avoid a rescheduling fee. Rescheduling a testing date allows you to select another testing date within your eligibility period; it is not an extension of your eligibility period.
