FCVS Training Verification

What training is verified by FCVS?

FCVS verifies all training that is accredited by ACGME, AOA or RCPSC.

FCVS does not verify fellowship or research training that is not accredited by ACGME, AOA or RCPSC; this type of training is considered non-accredited.

Some state medical boards may require physicians to personally verify non-accredited training that is not verified by FCVS. Verification requirements for non-accredited training should be reviewed directly with the participating state medical board(s).
