FSMB Releases 2023 Annual Report
A year of growth and innovation in service to state medical boards
WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 25, 2023) – The Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB) is pleased to announce the release of its 2023 Annual Report, reflecting a transformative year marked by growth, innovation and strengthened support for its member medical boards.
At the heart of this year's accomplishments lies a newly crafted strategic plan, a collective effort to guide the organization into an exciting future that emphasizes collaboration, service and integrity. Highlighted in the 2023 Annual Report are achievements in advocating for strengthened reporting to state medical boards; adding additional staff resources to develop high-quality education and engagement opportunities for member boards; launching new technologies and services to maximize operational efficiencies; and supporting license portability.
These achievements and collective milestones were made possible through the dedication of FSMB’s staff and volunteers in collaboration with the thousands of state medical board members and staff who work hard each day to protect the public.
