    • Update your name (add a name, change or correct your name)
    • Update your contact information (email, phone number, address)
    • Check the status of your Step exam application, scheduling permit, or score report
    • Access, download, and print your scheduling permit
    • Access, download, and print your score report

IRREGULAR BEHAVIOR
The stakes on a medical licensing exam are high. Security violations can jeopardize your future as a licensed physician in the U.S. Please review the USMLE policies on security and irregular behavior here.

IF YOUR TEST CENTER CLOSES ON YOUR TEST DATE(S):

You can find a listing of test center closures on the Prometric website.

If your test center is closed due to inclement weather or other issues and you are unable to test, you must do the following:

    • If you have not opened the exam (or not yet taken Day 1 for Step 3), you should first try to reschedule your test date(s) by contacting Prometric. Please note: You will need to wait 24 hours after receiving the closure/cancellation notification from Prometric before you can reschedule. If you are unable to reschedule after 24 hours or have other issues, please send an email to FSMB at usmle@fsmb.org.
    • If you have opened any part of the exam (or started or completed Day 1 for Step 3), send an email to USMLE Test Admin at testadmin@nbme.org. Your email should include: your full name, USMLE ID, test center location, a summary of the issue (e.g., test center closed due to inclement weather), and the ticket number from Prometric, if provided.

FSMB will verify the test center closure with Prometric. This takes several business days. Once FSMB verifies the closure, you will receive an email with information for rescheduling your test date(s). If needed, you will also receive a free eligibility period extension to allow time to reschedule.
